My name is Cynthia Cromwell. Since September 22, 1992 I have been my mother's caregiver transitioning to full-time caregiving after I lost my job and my professional career due to the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy in 2008. As of 2009 my mother needed full time care and could not be left at home alone. She was losing her ability to transition from bed to a wheelchair and became fully bed bound and unable to walk late 2014. She never regained her ability to walk. She suffered a major Cerebral Vascular Stroke September 22, 1992. My mother suffered at least over 30 years of Undiagnosed Hyperthyroidism. A condition of perpetual excessive endogenous thyroid hormone production called Thyrotoxicosis. This cause over 19 unplanned hospitalizations when exacerbated causing life threatening thyroid storms. We have been unplanned hospital free since March 2020 and since I discovered after consolidating 1000's of test results to make clear she has suffered border hyperthyroidism at least since I was born in 1962 and she was only 22 years old.
